Two mortar shells or rockets fired from northern Strip at around 7 pm Monday; no injuries or damage reported

Palestinian gunmen fire at Israel for third day in a row: The Color Red alert was sounded at around 7 pm Monday in some of the Gaza vicinity's communities, after two mortar shells or Qassam rockets were fired from the northern Gaza Strip.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.

On Sunday evening, Palestinians in northern Gaza fired at least two mortar shells towards Sderot, but there were no reports of injuries or damage.

Security officials initially believed that the siren heard throughout the Negev region was the result of a malfunction, but later reported that two mortar shells landed near the security fence separating Israel from Hamas-ruled Gaza.

On Saturday morning, a rocket landed in an open area near a community in the Sdot Negev Regional Council at around 6 am. There were no reports of injuries or damage in this incident as well.
