President Shimon Peres confirmed in an interview to the FOX News channel that US President Barack Obama would hold a three-way meeting in New York with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Peres said the meeting would be held at the margins of the UN General Assembly, which is schedule to open on September 23. He added that there was a chance the parties would decide to resume peace talks, but stressed that "this will not include Hamas." (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
