Poland's Defense Ministry says a soldier has been killed and four others injured in an exchange of fire with the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Thirty-year-old Pfc. Piotr Marciniak was killed Thursday in the eastern Ghazni province after a group of 30 Polish troops was sent to support a U.S.-Afghan force that encountered Taliban fire. (AP)
