Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer regretted the British labor union's decision to support the boycott of Israeli products in response to the offensive in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead.
Ben-Eliezer said that "a boycott is wrong, as it will first and foremost hurt the Palestinians families who are employed in these factories. This is a unilateral attempt to promote political agendas with the use of economic weapons." (Tani Goldstein)
