Hamas prime minister in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haniyeh said that his government would encourage and support "any step that will result in the establishment of a Palestinians state in 1967 borders," according to a report in independent Palestinian news agency, Ramatan.
Haniyeh wrote in a postcard to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, "We said that we will not place stumbling blocks in front of any effort to achieve an independent Palestinian state in the 4 June 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital." (Roee Nahmias)
