British army defuses bomb outside North Ireland house

British army experts have defused a small bomb left outside a house in a Catholic section of the Northern Ireland town of Antrim. An anti-Catholic extremist group claimed responsibility.

 

Thursday's security operation in Antrim, west of Belfast, followed a telephone warning from a caller claiming to represent the Real Ulster Freedom Fighters. (AP)
