PA to withdraw support of Goldstone report
The Palestinian ambassador to Geneva said that the Palestinian Authority intends to announce Friday that it withdraws its bid to adopt the Goldstone report, which accused Israel of war crimes, in the Human Rights Council's concluding session.
"This step affirms the correct strategy embraced by the government of Israel and the Foreign Ministry warning that the adoption of the Goldstone report may prove harmful to the peace process," Israel's ambassador to Geneva Roni Leshno Yaar said. (Roni Sofer)
