Published: 10.02.09, 09:55 / Israel News

Four Israel Prison Service vehicles have left Sharon Prison carrying 19 female Palestinian prisoners slated to be released in exchange for a minute-long videotape of captured Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit.

Three of the vehicles, carrying 18 of the prisoners, will travel to Ofer detention center, near Bitunia. From there, they will be handed over at 11:30 to the Red Cross. The fourth vehicle, carrying one more prisoner, will travel to Shikma detention center in Ashkelon, where she will be released at 11:30 to the Gaza Strip via Erez crossing. The release will take place only after the IPS receives the green like from Hagai Hadas, Israel's envoy to the Shalit talks. (Avi Cohen)
