39-year-old woman dies after contracting swine flu

A 39-year-old woman died Saturday at the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva after contracting the swine flu virus. The woman was not included in the disease's risk groups.

 

The Health Ministry reported that the death was caused by a complication derived from a weakness in the immune system. She had been hospitalized for two weeks in critical condition at the hospital's intensive care unit. (Meital Yasur Beit-Or)
