Minister Shalom urges immediate discussion on J'lem riots

Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom sent a letter to Cabinet Secretary Zvi Houser requesting an urgent discussion on recent riots in Jerusalem in the next cabinet meeting. 

 

Shalom stated that the Islamic Movement should be outlawed and its northern faction leader Raed Salah and his deputy Kamal Khatib should be arrested. Meanwhile, Knesset Member Ofir Akunis (Likud) approched Attorney General Menachem Mazuz requesting to explore possibilities of prosecuting Salah. (Roni Sofer and Amnon Mernada)
