Livni: Government consists of people not concerned with general welfare

Opposition chairwoman Knesset Member Tzipi Livni slammed the government on Wednesday, saying that "cabinet meetings consist of a group of people that are unable to consider the public welfare."
In a speech she gave at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Livni said, "In theory there is supposed to be one party which is concerned with the general welfare – the biggest party which comprises the government. But in this party they have paid too much for the sake of being in government." (Attila Somfalvi)
