Egypt postpones Palestinian reconciliation accord

An official Palestinian source says that Cairo has decided to postpone the signing of a reconciliation agreement between rival Palestinian factions. Both Egyptian and Palestinian sources said that the delay was purely technical and did not mean Egyptian had abandoned the effort to reconcile Hamas and Fatah.
The decision to delay the truce deal was made following a request from Hamas and Palestinian groups which claimed that current atmosphere in the PA does not allow for an agreement due to the crisis caused by Fatah's stance on the Goldstone Report. (Ali Waked)
