Barak: Iran deal will legitimize uranium enrichment

Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned Thursday that the draft deal to be singed with Iran will grant it legitimacy to enrich uranium. Barak stated that a deadline should be established for the cessation of the Iranian nuclear program and that sanctions against it should be decided on.
"This agreement, should it even be signed, would set Iran back by a year. But there's a catch: If they won't stop enriching (uranium) - the result is that Iran has received legitimacy to enrich uranium for civil purposes," Barak said. (Ronen Medzini)
