Search conducted near Beit Shean after report of Jordanian aircraft
Large military and police forces are conducting searches near Kibbutz Gesher, in the Beit Shean Valley, for a glider that reportedly crossed the border from Jordan into Israel. The search was initiated after a report was received by Lebanese security forces.
Up until now, an old parachute was located. It is being examined whether it had any connection to the incident because the aircraft was not detected on radar. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
