In commemoration of 14 years since the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, studies were stopped for two hours at the law department of Bar-Ilan University so that Rabin's legacy could be studied. Yitzhak Rabin's assassin, Yigal Amir, was a law student at Bar-Ilan University.
Not all of the students intended to attend to memorial ceremony. "There are more attempts to try and make us feel bad. Many years have passed and there is no reason that Bar-Ilan or the religious sector will be forever stained," said one of the students to Ynet. (Daniel Edelson)
