Jerusalem District Court Justice Yitzhak Inbar rejected the appeal submitted by Elior Chen of the eight-day extension of his remand. The judge ruled that even though his extradition request did not include a count of attempted murder, the crimes ascribed to him, including the abuse of minors, are severe. He must, therefore, be confronted with all of the evidence against him, according to the ruling. (Aviad Glickman)
