Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mouallem denied that the Francop arms vessel, captured by Israel overnight, was carrying a weapons shipment meant for Syria, Iranian news agency Fars reported.
According to the report, Mouallem insisted that the ship was carrying Iranian goods meant for Damascus. (Dudi Cohen)
