Disabled IDF veterans blocked Tel Aviv's Kaplan and Menachem Begin streets once again Monday, as they continued protesting what they called the Defense Ministry's cumbersome treatment.

The Kaplan-Begin junction was alternately opened and closed by police forces called to the scene.

The 150 demonstrators also tried to block the adjacent Ayalon Highway exit, which was soon reopened for traffic.

The police refrained from clashing with the protestors, who carried signs reading "Our battle isn’t over, it's daily."

Monday's rally followed a similar one held at the same place Sunday evening.

Sunday's protest also saw the veterans set tires on fire and block Ayalon's south exit into Tel Aviv's Ammunition Hill Street, causing gridlock.
