Peace Now: Right trying to turn Shimshon into a private militia

The left-wing Peace Now movement has criticized the letter sent by reserve soldiers in support of recruits who protested against the evacuation of the Homesh outpost.
"Rightists elements are making supreme efforts to split the IDF and turn the Shimshon Battalion into the settlers' private militia. The IDF must dismiss from reserve duty any soldier supporting disobedience and trying to turn the IDF into a political army," the organization said in a statement. (Efrat Weiss)
