Absorption minister: Morocco has more female ministers than Israel

Immigrant Absorption Minister Sofa Landver, who represented Israel in a conference on the status of women in European and Middle Eastern countries, told Ynet, "Even Morocco has 14 female ministers, and we only have two."
The minister, who spoke in Hebrew and without interruptions, added, "However, Israel is making progress in all matters related to the woman's status. We still have a long way to go, and cooperation between countries will help us be more successful in the matter." (Yael Branovsky)
