Absorption minister: Small budget pushing olim to society's margins

Immigration Absorption Minister Sofa Landver said the state must invest more in immigrants, who are being pushed to the "margins of society".
"The priorities of the Treasury have been confused. They forget that behind the numbers are people with families who can't get through the month. We mustn't let the olim be pushed to the margins of society because of a lack of funds. If we don't invest the minimum required we will need to invest much more tomorrow," Landver said at a Sderot social conference. (Yael Branovsky)
