French FM: Abbas must understand he is vital for peace
French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is vital for the peace process.
"We must make it clear to the Palestinian president just how much he is vital to the peace process. Without him, nothing is possible," said Kouchner at a press conference in Amman after meeting with Abbas. (AFP)
