Arab paper: Shalit deal about to be completed

The prisoner exchange deal between Israel and Hamas "is very close to being completed," London-based Arabic-language al-Hayat newspaper reported Friday.
The report, based on several sources, noted that Israel has agreed in principle to release 450 prisoners sentences to long jail terms, and that the remaining dispute is over the criteria for the release. Israel is adamant in its refusal to include Israeli Arab prisoners and east Jerusalem residents in the deal. (Roee Nahmias)
