Jerusalem Police believe that the Jewish teen arrested Thursday for allegedly stabbing an Arab carried out his attack based on nationalistic motivations. The suspect was brought to the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court Friday for a hearing on the extension of his remand.
The teen, 16, turned himself in to the police Thursday some three hours after the stabbing at the bus stop on Jerusalem's Eshkol Avenue. According to the teen, he carried out the attack out of "self defense." (Efrat Weiss)
