State: Rose Pizem's mother applied for green card before murder
The prosecution in the Rose Pizem murder trial revealed to the court that the four-year-old girl's mother, Marie-Charlotte Renault, and grandfather, Ronny Ron, applied for a working and residence permit for the United States in April 2008, shortly before Rose's death.
In the document, Renault put down the names of her two youngest daughters but left out Rose's name. According to the prosecution, this shows Renault had planned the murder. (Vered Luvitch)
