Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger said during his meeting with Noam Shalit, "I have a very strong feeling that Gilad will light the Hanukkah lights with us in another two weeks."
Metzger added that the rabbinate cannot formulate an official stance on the prisoner swap deal and criticized the rabbis who issued a halachic prohibition against the deal. He called the move "pretentious." (Ronen Medzini)
