Livni asks Sweden to be neutral on Jerusalem

Opposition chairwoman Tzipi Livni expressed support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and criticized the European Union for its intention to declare Jerusalem the capital of Palestine.
Livni told the Swedish foreign minister, "I am expressing my concern to you about what is seen as an attempt to determine ahead of time the results of such a sensitive issue still being negotiated. I beseech you to refrain from adopting any position on the matter of Jerusalem." (Roni Spfer and Attila Somfalvi)
