Report: Death penalty for Lebanese who spied for Israel

An investigative judge in Lebanon asked that a death penalty be given to a Lebanese citizen who is accused of cooperating with Israel, according to a report published by London-based Arabic-language al-Hayat newspaper.
According to the report, Investigative Judge with the Judicial Council, Samih al-Hajj said in his recommendation that the accused is guilty for "cooperating with the Israeli enemy and giving out information that was used to carry out terror acts against Lebanon, and led to the killing of Hezbollah members during the July war (Second Lebanon war)."
