Noam Shalit meets with Minister Margi

Noam Shalit, father of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit met with Minister of Religious Services Yakov Margi, in order to convince him to vote in favor of a deal with Hamas for the release of his son. Margi told Shalit he plans on backing the deal.
Shalit presented Margi with Rabbi Ovadia Yosef's halachic ruling, according to which these types of deals are permitted. Margi told Shalit, "Do not apologize for acting to secure the release of your son." (Kobi Nahshoni)
