Soldier arrested on rape suspicion

An IDF soldier serving in a unit in the Northern Command was arrested on suspicion of raping a female soldier near the base where they both served some three months ago.
The soldier said in his investigation that the sexual contact was consensual. The Northern Command's military court extended the suspect's remand by six days. (Hanan Greenberg)
