Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during the weekly government meeting that the torching of a West Bank mosque on Friday was "an especially serious crime – a crime against religion".
"It negates all human values, Jewish tradition, and the tradition of the state of Israel," he said, and added that he had asked authorities to make a special effort to capture the culprits. "All of the weight of the law must be used against those responsible," he said. (Roni Sofer)
