Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was shocked by the theft of the "Arbeit macht frei" sign from the Auschwitz death camp in Poland.
"I call on the Polish government to find these twisted criminals, who have desecrated a place in which more than a million Jews were murdered," he said at the opening of the weekly cabinet meeting. (Ronen Medzini)
