Hamas official: If Israel rejects Shalit deal, it will be held up for long time

If Israel rejects the Shalit prisoner swap deal, the process is likely to be held up for quite some time, said a Hamas official to Ynet on Tuesday. According to him, Hamas expected "an Israeli ploy" in which conditions are stipulated at the last minute.
The official said, "We are still waiting to receive the official Israeli decision, but as we have said, for the deal to go through, Israel must accept all of our demands. If this condition is not met and the number of deportees reduced to near zero, there will be no deal." (Ali Waked)
