2 Border Guard officers accused of assaulting refugee

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment with the Beersheba District Court against two Border Guard officers for the abduction, robbery and assault of a Sudanese refugee in Eilat five days ago.
According to the indictment, the two arrested the refugee for no reason during a patrol in the southern city, took him to a deserted building, robbed him of NIS 700 (about $184), beat him and threatened to "send him back to Sudan." (Ilana Curiel)
