Jerusalem resident Rifat Sayeed said a minibus he was travelling in on Monday overturned and crashed into a ditch after Jewish settlers threw stones in its direction.
According to him, the minibus, which was making its way from Jenin to Jerusalem, was stoned by a group of settlers as it approached the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar on Highway 60. He said the settlers threw rocks at other vehicles as well.
Seven Palestinians who sustained light injuries in the incident were evacuated by a Red Crescent ambulance to a hospital in Hebron.

According to Sayeed, a number of people who rushed to the scene of the accident to assist the wounded said they had spotted a group of settlers throwing stones at the vehicle.
"We told this to the Israeli police officers and soldiers," he said, but security forces said they did not find any sign of stone-throwing during a search of the area.
