The governor of Iraq's Anbar province was killed in a bomb attack on Wednesday, along with a member of the provincial council and the deputy police commander, state television reported.
Al-Iraqiya state television reported that Qassim Mohammed, governor of the mainly Sunni Arab province west of Baghdad, was killed in an attack in central Ramadi, the provincial capital. (Reuters)
