PM, FM to present Sderot aid package for government approval

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz will present an aid package to the government on Sunday for approval. The aid, a total of NIS 190 million ($50 million), is earmarked for Sderot and the towns near the Gaza Strip.

According to the plan, which was put together by Prime Minister's Office Director General Eyal Gabai and Finance Ministry Budget Director Udi Nissan, an additional NIS 150 million ($39 million) will be used for protecting educational institutions in the area. (Roni Sofer)
