Vote on bill necessitating 80 MK majority for withdrawal delayed
The Knesset Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs decided not to vote Sunday on the bill proposed by MK Carmel Shama (Likud) that would necessitate a majority of 80 members of Knesset prior to a government commitment to withdraw from the Golan Heights.
Sources on the committee said that the vote was delayed at the behest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (Amnon Meranda)
