Otherwise healthy 25-year-old dies from swine flu
A young 25-year-old woman from the north died from swine flu Monday in Ha'Emek Hospital in Afula. She was otherwise healthy. The young woman was hospitalized a week ago with severe shortness of breath, and was transferred to the intensive care unit.
The hospital reported that the doctors administered Tamiflu to the woman. She was also given the medication Paravir with the authorization of the Health Ministry. However, her condition declined on Sunday, and she passed away on Monday. (Hagai Einav and Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
