Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won support Monday for Tehran's nuclear program from Tajikistan, an impoverished ex-Soviet nation eager for the Iranian investment.
Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon told Ahmadinejad that Tajikistan backs Iran's nuclear bid. "We support Iran's peaceful nuclear program on all levels as its natural strategic partner," Rakhmon said after talks with Ahmadinejad. (AP)
