Magnitude 6.8 quake strikes near Solomon Islands
A magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck near the Solomon Islands on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said. The quake occurred about 160 km southeast of Gizo in the Solomons, the USGS said. (Reuters)
