Finance ministry to Mifal Hapayis: Return to old system
Finance Ministry Director General Haim Shani instructed Israel's national lottery operator Mifal Hapayis to return to the old lottery system for lotto, which offered smaller prizes but greater chances of winning.
In February 2009 the operator changed the rules of the game so that the chances of winning decreased from 1:13.5 million to 1:18.6 million. (Zvi Lavi)
