Man who planned to torch Arab homes in Tel Aviv convicted
The Tel Aviv District Court has convicted Eliyahu Aharoni, 20, for preparing Molotov cocktails in order to set fire to house belonging to Arabs in the city's Hatikva neighborhood.
The judges rejected the defense counsels' claim that Aharoni regretted the act and did not set the fire himself. He was convicted of arson with a racist motive and of producing Molotov cocktails. (Vered Luvitch)
