Turkey urges Egypt to release detained Gaza activists
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu contacted his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Aboul Gheit with a request to release the international activists who were detained in a protest for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Activists of the "Viva Palestina" organization protested at el-Arish Tuesday night, in protest of Egyptian authorities' refusal to allow entrance to all their vehicles to the Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing. (AFP)
