New Zealand: 5 arrested in anti-Israel protest

Five people were arrested Thursday in the latest protest against Israeli tennis player Shahar Peer's presence at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand.

The New Zealand Herald reported that police moved in after a noise complaint about the chanting outside the tennis venue by about 20 demonstrators attacking Israel's policies towards Palestinians. Peer won the match and made it to the tournament's semi-finals. (Ynet)
