Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has arrived in Iraq for a two-day visit, during which he will meet with senior state officials and discuss security cooperation and a definition of the borders between the countries. Mottaki will not meet with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani.
An Iranian military force took over an oil well in Iraq last month, and withdrew from the area several hours later due to "a misunderstanding", as defined by Tehran, because of the unclear border between the countries in that region. (AFP)
