Another two mortar shells fired from the Gaza Strip landed in open areas in Eshkol Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported.
This brings the total of mortar shells fired from Gaza into Israel to seven. Three of them landed within the Gaza Strip. Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front Committees, took responsibility for the firing. (Ilana Curiel and Ali Waked)
