Peace Now protest against residential complex in east J'lem
Some 30 Peace Now activists are protesting in front of the Beit Orot Yeshiva, next to the al-Tur neighborhood in east Jerusalem against the building of a residential complex on the site.
The protestors are carrying signs that read "Beit Orot – irreversible damage," and are promising to continue coming to the site in coming weeks in a bid to stop the complex from being built. Twenty-four housing units were authorized this week by Jerusalem municipality to house yeshiva students on the premises. (Ronen Medzini)
