Despite police opposition, Sudmi's to undergo psychiatric evaluation
Kiryat Gat Magistrates' Court Judge Israel Akselrad ordered that the brothers Adir and Naor Sudmi, suspected of murdering 7-year-old Leon Kalantarov, undergo psychiatric evaluation.
The police opposed the move claiming that the two were examined on the night of their arrest at a hospital in Ashkelon and were found fit for trial. However, the judge ruled in favor of the brothers' lawyer. (Tova Dadon)
