Report: Suicide blast kills 7 in Afghan town
A suicide bomber detonated his explosives in a market in Afghanistan's southeastern town of Gardez on Thursday, killing a senior Afghan security commander and six others, an official said.
The apparent targets of the attack were Afghan security officials allied to foreign troops, said a spokesman for the provincial governor, Rohullah Samoon. (Reuters)
